• Shaft Friction Winder/ Haulage System
• Preparation of procedure for calibration/isolation of 15 tonne haulage system, skip/skip/wire ropes payload weights.
• Registration item & design compliance requirements. Implemented efficient documentation management/monitoring system, WBS & set-up of a MDG33 database management, prepared submission.  Prequalified contractors, liaised with EPC/ EPCM & external engineering firms/suppliers to undertake works on winder & components, maintenance, servicing, reverse engineering design studies. Liaise with Inspectors/ consultants from statutory mine regulatory authorities. Approximate $1.3M project.
• Structural Steel works and Corrosion Site Audit – Surface/ Underground Operations

• Created pre-qualification checklist of SME supplier companies that reduced the procurement costs by 30 % from suppliers & improved performance. This increased diversity, reduced overheads & created higher quality service.
• Created a supplier qualification rating system that provided data on performance.

• Tailings Water Reclaim System - Feb 1996 to June 1998
• Participated as a team member - Project Engineer assistant on this project, focused on improving the tailings water reclaim system & its access road. The main areas covered in this project were earthworks for new 6.8 km access road, installation of new pipeline & pump system.  Project increased flow rate from 60 l/s to 250 l/s assisted Mount Isa Mines in reducing the annual fresh water consumption from AUD$4.85M to AUD$37k (Budget $1.5 million).
• Assisted with refurbishment of underground 20L & 23L Bulk Air Coolers - Jan 1996 to July 1998
• Mount Isa Mines required the refurbishment of their existing 20LP62 BAC’s to increase the efficiency & life of asset. Managed this project from inception to completion (Budget $350k: Duration 7 months)
