Jan 2013-Present: PA to Hospital Director at Spire Bushey Hospital

  • Extensive support and assistance: diary management, event organisation, letter writing, travel arrangements including negotiating rates, booking hotels and coordinating hospitality for senior management, scheduling of meetings and minute taking for groups, powerpoint presentation preparation, organisation and filing.
  • Consistent communication with consultants; processing new consultants’ applications for practicing privileges and maintaining insurance and appraisal documents with existing consultants.
  • Intensive, detailed management of the complaints process, responding to complaints by phone, letter, email and on site.
Feb 2012-Dec 2012: PA to ‘Head of Clinical & Non-Clinical Services’ at Spire Bushey Hospital (Contract- Maternity Cover)
  • Secretarial support:  Letter writing, minute taking in grievance & disciplinary hearings, diary management, complaint investigations.
  • Compile the Hospital’s quarterly and annual Governance Reports and support/contribute to all documentation produced by the Head of Clinical & Non-Clinical.

  • Human Resources administration:  Recruitment checks, internal/external adverts, liaising with external recruitment agencies, shortlisting candidates & scheduling interviews, maintaining visa checks and maternity leave requirements. I am the contact for staff’s employment needs such as benefits and pensions.
