Reporting to Senior Construction Manager and responsible for Project and Construction Management of MEP Building Services during post contract project phase. However additional responsibility includes taking lead in all matters related to MEP including coordination of all services and trades, coordination with external consultants, fit-out contractors, local authorities and client.

Responsible for all matters related to mechanical building services including review of contractor’s material transmittals, shop drawings and method statements, management of inspection of mechanical installations at site through inspectors, witnessed testing and commissioning, review of O&M manuals and assist Resident Engineer in taking over of project, assist Resident Engineer in negotiations with contractors regarding changes proposed in contract value or time and preparation of recommendations on claims submitted.

Kazema Engineering Projects, Kuwait
Project Engineer, July 2000 – June 2005
Kazema Engineering Projects is a leading MEP and EPC Contractor in Kuwait and was responsible for construction project management and achieving the successful completion of assigned projects within allocated time frame and budget. Responsible for contractor’s construction team in various high profile projects in Kuwait which include medical laboratory, EPC Contract for Oil and Gas sector and commercial buildings.

Major responsibilities were management of preparation of shop drawings, coordination of all MEP building services, detailed engineering during construction, preparation of necessary engineering calculations, procurement of materials and equipment, site construction management and coordination with client, consultants and subcontractors. Additional responsibilities include assisting quantity surveyors in preparation of bills, variation orders and claims for time extension.

Senior Technical Executive, March 1997 – June 2000
Joined Amalgam Enterprises as trainee engineer after graduation and was a member of technical team responsible for installation of high capacity central cold storages, refrigeration facilities for food processing lines, installation of food processing lines and air-conditioning of administrative buildings. Board experience with some of state of art technologies in food processing industry like freeze drying, individual quick freezing line and block freezing.
