  • Key team member of the Management Information and Systems Development Team, providing support to colleagues and students throughout the University.
  • Responsible for the creation of monthly comparative, analytical and statistical reports for University Executives to assist them in their decision making processes.
  • Responsible for the creation of ad-hoc comparative, analytical and statistical reports for colleagues throughout the University, and external agencies under the Freedom of Information Act.
  • Responsible for the creation of training material and delivery of group or one-to-one training courses in the use of the University Systems, and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Developed timelines for project completion.
  • Development and maintenance of operational, administrative policies and business process documents within the Admissions Department.
  • Liaison with Tribal Technologies via telephone, email and web-forum facilities to resolve software issues, and to implement new facilities within the SITS: Vision software.

  • Webmaster to Lofty Installations / Miller Pattison Limited / Sheffield Insulations
  • Design and development of company Intranet system, giving automation of many company procedures, with general technical support facilities.
  • Designed, developed and administered some 16 Microsoft Access based databases.  Including a Vehicle Monitoring System, a Company Diary System, an Accounting Reporting Systems, etc.

  • Administrative support to high speed Windows NT Network.  Provision of support to six further staff in the Bureau to their computing/software needs.
  • Implementation of paper and web based data capture forms, using highly specialised software.
  • The job included large amounts of contact with clients in and outside the University, taking down of requirements of the project.
  • Duties also included the scanning and verification of Multiple-Choice Questionnaires for University lecturers.
  • Webmaster to the Data Capture Bureau’s website.  Website is used as a medium to demonstrate the use of HTML and PDF based data capture forms.
