Short Bio:

I am currently serving in the REME and have been for 10 years now. I am a class 1 vehicle mechanic specializing in HGV inspecting and failure diagnosis. I have run an inspections cell at an armed forces light aid detachment and have the relevant qualifications to inspect to and above VOSA and military standards. I have a wide range of experience in small and large diesel vehicles both low and high tech including CAN-BUS and HEUI systems. I am a Lance Corporal at a Royal Engineers LAD and I am very professional and reliable and willing to undertake any task. I am also capable of managing my own team and running a shop floor/production section.
I am able to work in both fully equipped workshops and in austere conditions such as Afghanistan. I am capable of working to the highest standards both independently and as part of a team.

SUMMARY

Skilled, experienced and highly motivated mechanical engineer with a vast knowledge of HGV and

plant vehicles and heavy diesel vehicles. Also a trained and qualified heavy vehicle inspector.

Training and experience has been gained through 10 years of service within the Royal Electrical and

Mechanical Engineers, from initial basic vehicle mechanic training to class one vehicle mechanic

and VOSA trained inspector. Experience ranges from diesel generators to Land Rovers, Bedford Leyland

DAF, MAN 6, 9, 15 tonne HGV’s, Foden, Seddon Aitkinson, Caterpillar, Vickers and International. Also

experienced with the CAN-BUS electrical system and the HEUI injector actuation systems. Also has

experience in heavy armoured and tracked vehicles. Have worked and managed at shop floor level

within a fully equipped workshop and in austere conditions found in Afghanistan and other exercises.

I am a family man that is very passionate about what i do in all aspects of life. I enjoy motor racing in all types from touring to rally cars and all in between. I also enjoy playing football and ice hockey and other types of extreme sports. I love being outdoors and outdoor pursuits but also like to relax and enjoy socialising with coleagues and friends.
