At Hyphose I completed an in-house Parker fittings/hose competence course and an in-house fork lift course.

Since May 2014 I have been employed by Bibby Offshore as a Rigger, Slinger/Banksman on DSV Mermaid Endurer and CSV Olympic Ares. During this time I have been involved in a variety of offshore projects and the associated tasks including but not limited to:- bolt tensioning, heavy spool and equipment over boarding using Dreggen and Hydra Marine knuckle boom cranes. Umbilical laying and decommissioning works. I have been involved numerous mobilisations and demobilisations.

I give 100% in all aspects of the job at all times and have a good awareness of Health and Safety in and around the workplace.

I am very flexible and have no problem with working long trips offshore or onshore away from home and can travel at short notice.

During my leaves I have been employed onshore as a banksman/slinger for McCarthy and Stone slinging and banking loads for tower cranes. I’ve also been working as a stevedore/dock labourer on Poole quay loading and unloading container ships.

Previously to working offshore I worked for Hyphose which is a leading supplier of Hydraulic hoses and fittings to order in Southern UK. So I have a good understanding of pressures, threads and hydraulic equipment in the work place and on machinery.
