  • Build the new remote access infrastructure/VPN gateways in 8 locations globally
  • Migration of 350K users across GE globally by working with business representatives

Project: Corporate Backbone Circuit’s Migration                                                                                           2011-2012

To launch RFP for 7 EMEA Corp circuits (including trans-Atlantic) in order to get ~$400k/Yr. cost savings by migrating to winning vendors and improved QoS by working with key stake holders (GIS Networks & Telecom sourcing teams)

  • Selected two global carriers out of 14 after RFP process based on technical evaluation and financial factors.
  • Successfully migrated the 7 circuits within 6 months to winning carriers with technology upgrade
  • Delivered productivity of ~$450K for 2012 and onwards

Project: Data Centre Split – DR Improvement                                                                                                 2011-2012

To split the Data Centre core network into 2 separate buildings in order to improve the disaster recovery of data centre in the event of disasters.

  • Led the Data Centre (DC) Core split project by working with GIS Core Engineering, DC on-site, businesses and change approval teams. This improved DR capability of DC.
  • Project completed by successfully split shared, back-up and management networks & redundant circuit into phase 2 building.

Project: Proxy in the Cloud (PITC) – Rollout in EMEA                                                                                     2010-2012

Led the PITC roll-out in EMEA by co-ordinating with PITC team & businesses i.e. Capital EMEA & transportation

  • Developed the project plan, timelines and allocate resources for the project

Project: Voice Utility Service – OneGE HD – EMEA                                                                                                 2010

To design and implementation of the operational processes required to support Multi Generation Project Plan (MGPP) for GCom Service Implementation

  • Design & Implemented the End 2 End GCom Support Operational Processes from L-1 to L-2 by working with GE stakeholders and external vendor

Project: Employee Exit Simplification Process – Employee Services IT – EMEA                                       2009- 2010

To design & digitize the standard employee exit process by working with HR, legal and IT leaders of GE BU’s.

  • Successfully designed and implemented the Asset retrieval process by gathering requirements (CTQ’s) from HR, legal, and various IT department leaders.
  • Integrated the exit workflow with IT L-2 team for asset retrieval thus saving significant L-1 tickets cost.
  • Managed the off-shore development team for the development of asset retrieval process.
  • Validated the asset retrieval process from 25 + business IT Leaders by effective communication

Project: Global Voice Support (L-2) – GIS Telecoms – Global                                                                                   2009

To consolidate the voice support vendors by building a scalable model and SLA matrix so as enables the transition of BU voice infrastructures into Global Infrastructure Services.

  • Managed the RFP process and evaluate the responses based on the CTQ’s and cost benefits.
  • Successfully selected the single voice support vendor from 20 global vendors that meets CTQ’s and cost benefits requirements.
  • Developed the scalable support model & SLA matrix by working with Corp Telecom Sourcing and GIS Telecom Operations and Business representatives.
  • Expected cost savings in phase 1 was over $300K/year and in phase 2 would be over $500K/year due to single supplier.

Project: UK Broadband Migration Project – Personal Telecoms – EMEA                                                    2008-2009

To migrate all UK Broadband services to the GE Corporate preferred vendor.

  • Managed the broadband migration process to replace the existing vendors of GE BU’s.
  • Successfully migrated 600+ broadband lines (75% of total UK lines) of HC, Money, Energy and NBCU to Vodafone which provides estimated $90K/year savings to GE BU’s.
