I am currently working for Deloitte Private (Australia) as an IT Director. Previously, I worked at PWC (Cayman) Islands for 5 years as an IT Audit Manager, Butterfield Bank (Bermuda) for 1 year, at Ernst & Young (Barbados) for 4 years as some of my highlights. I am a chartered accountant (FCCA) and to-date, I have completed CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGAP. I am currently preparing for PMP and I love Spanish. I am an advance Spanish student and working in a Spanish environment would provide me with my dream of being fluent in Spanish. Work Experience:

August 2012 – Present: IT Director – Deloitte Private (Australia)

 Lead the IT Division of the Papua New Guinea office;

 Develop revenue targets for the IT Division;

 Develop sales and marketing strategies to achieve agreed upon revenue targets;

 Planned, managed and delivered/reviewed the IT audit work to support the financial statement audits, for a client portfolio consisting mainly of banks, insurance, trusts and funds clients.

 Documented and flowcharted end-to-end processes that were complex and/or predominantly automated; and additionally prepared Risk & Control Matrices to support our top-down risk based audit strategy. End-to-end processes that included ATM & POS transactions, Online transactions, Manual Journal Entries, Claims & Premiums, etc..

 Performed Pre & Post Implementation Reviews to support our reliance on new audit significant systems and applications.

 Reviewed IT Internal Controls as per our methodology and COSO standards.

 Reviewed IT Governance over program development, program changes/maintenance, computer operations and access to programs & data for in-scope systems and applications.

 Validated the key controls within mainly AS400( iSeries), MS Windows, UNIX operating systems and Oracle databases which included User Rights & Privileges, Privileged accounts, System Values/Configurable Controls, Change Controls and controls supporting access to the operating systems “.exe” files, etc..

 Benchmarked key automated application controls to support our controls-based audit approach and also to reduce the audit effort in subsequent audits. Applications that included Phoenix, Euronet, Bank Master/BM+, Primacy, MFACT and MSHARE.

 Validated the key controls that supported end-user computing and key management reports.

 Integrated the use of Audit Command Language (ACL) to achieve greater efficiencies within our financial audits, which included analysing data quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, user access entitlements, validating data migration, validating the automated calculation of interest, dividends, commissions and fees, etc.

 Reviewed and mapped the controls validated within SAS70 reports to client processes, to support the audit strategies for our clients that relied on Service Providers; assessed the impact of reported errors/weaknesses and further determined whether any additional work needs to be performed.

 Reviewed the vulnerability / penetration testing done by other PwC offices for our financial audit clients, and thereby identified and assessed the impact of reported weaknesses / deficiencies; and follow-up on remediation efforts.

 Reviewed Clearance Reports prepared by Clients’ Head Office PwC Auditors for the Cayman subsidiaries / offices and assessed the impact of reported errors/weaknesses and further determined whether any additional work needs to be performed.

 Collaborated with the senior engagement team members to assess the impact of identified errors and weaknesses and determined appropriate audit responses.

 Collaborated and teamed with the senior engagement team members to prepare the management report and face-off with senior client executives to discuss findings and recommendations.

 Lead the development and implementation of several in-house applications that included Acceptance & Continuance and the PwC Cayman website.
