Profile

I began in the drilling industry 20 years ago and I have been involved with exploration diamond drilling both underground and on the surface.

I have held the position as a Driller/Drilling Supervisor and Project Manager and during this period I managed underground and surface drilling projects in Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, PNG and Africa.

Recently I was employed as a Project manager in the north of the Philippines (Luzon) managing a 10 rig underground Diamond Drilling project with a major international mining company. My role required that I managed 120 nationals on the drilling team and 30 nationals on the Logistics and Admin support teams. I was then moved to Indonesia (Sulawesi) to manage two major exploration drilling sites consisting of 16 Heliportable/Manportable diamond drilling rigs. During this latest down turn in the drilling industry I have worked in the Crane hire/construction industry as a Yard Coordinator/Crane Driver and associated tasks including sandblasting/industrial spray painting, mechanical rebuilding and over hauling of cranes and construction plant.

I look forward to getting back into the drilling industry as soon as a suitable position is available.
