Jan. 2012 –Currently  - Sr. Regional Business Manager - Latin America  - NeoMobile Group

On international assignment based among Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Bogota, in charge of all business operations for the Latin American region. Reporting to the Latam Executive Director, directly managing a team of over 15 people located among five different countries in Latin America and Europe. Main duties include:

  • Define the commercial strategy for all region, assessing new countries launch potential, defining the adequate products/projects roadmap for all markets (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Central America);
  • Lead the launch and implementation of new mobile products to boost revenues and growth throughout the Latin American region;
  • Managing relationships with key local partners (i.e. Mobile network operators, Media Publishers, Web and Mobile Affiliates, Merchants, Record Labels) negotiating revenues share agreements and contracts conditions with Top Senior Managers;
  • Managing the products approval process with Mobile Network Operators and external partners (Merchants) defying and managing roadmaps for new products and projects delivery;
  • Driving the Acquisition strategy and Media Buying activities in all online medias: Mobile (On-Deck / Off-Deck) and WEB (SEM, Display, Affiliates) with an yearly budget of over 30 million USD;
  • Establishment of the countries yearly budget, define monthly and short-range objectives, responsible for yearly targets in terms of Revenues and EBITDA.
Main Achievements:

Directly managed the launch of Neomobile operations in Ecuador and Peru where Neomobile (after a year) is already in the top 3 Mobile Entertainment companies in terms of revenues generated. 2012’s Revenues 40% above the budget and EBITDA higher than 30%, for all the Region. Established the leadership in the Mexican market. Customer Base increased by 75% vs 2011.

Closed an exclusivity Revenues Share agreement for M-Commerce products with the leader Mobile Network Operator of the region. 140% achievement of the annual personal targets (MBO). Promoted to Senior Manager in February  2013.  Elected member of the BOD of Neomobile Colombia SAS and Neomobilecuador SA.

Jan. 2011 – Dec. 2011 - Business Operations & Development Manager  Latin America - NeoMobile Group

On international assignment based in Mexico City, reporting to the Latam Regional Director, in charge of managing the start-up operations and the business development activities to expand the business in all the  Latin America region.    Managed a team of 4 people. Main duties included:
  • Analysing Political, Economical, Legal, Sociological and Competitive environment, identifying new business opportunities in new markets, defining best entry strategies in terms of products, pricing, and advertising strategy;
  • Managing the entire products launches and start-up process coordinating cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product, Technology, Sales) located among different countries between Europe and Latin America;
  • Coordinating the sales and marketing plans for new products in new countries, running profitability analysis for products in terms of Cost per Acquisition (CPC,CPM,CPA,CPL), ARPU, Churn and Customer Retention;
  • Managing the relationship with local merchants, scouting of new possible sales leads the for the B2B line (Mobile Advertising and Internet/Mobile commerce).
Main Achievements:

Launched operations in Colombia (after less than 2 years Neomobile is in the top player of the market in terms of revenues generated), 2011 closing revenues 15% above the budget and EBIDTA over 20%. Put the basis for the launch of Ecuador and Peru. Closed a regional agreement with one of 3 major label for their contents distribution. 120% achievement of the annual personal targets (MBO).

Jan. 2010 – Dec.2010 - Business Support Manager Iberia & India- NeoMobile Group

Based in the HQ (Italy) but with extensive travelling abroad (mainly India, Spain and Portugal), reporting to the Iberia Director and directly to the COO for special projects such as the launch of B2C services in India. Managed a team of two Jr. Project Managers. Duties included:
  • Being the central reference among the Headquarters (where Engineering, Products and Marketing teams were based)  and the local subsidiaries, for the management of new projects and products launches on the international markets, coordinating cross-functional teams among Italy, India, Turkey, Spain, Mexico and Portugal;
  • Analyse industry trend, key business drivers and competitive landscape; oversee opportunity identification and evaluation, construct analytical business cases, formulate new offers and promotions;
  • Develop technical documentation and Product Requirements Definition accordingly to Business and Customers’ needs;
  • Managing the entire projects lifecycle, producing relative projects documentation and project plans;
  • Responsible for period business reporting and forecasting, prepare detailed performance analysis and present recommendations to senior management.
Main Achievements:

Successfully delivered more than 20 projects, including the launch of the B2B services in the Indian market. 130% achievement of the MBO targets.  “2010 Employee of the year” (was selected by the Company for the participation to the national best employee contest “Premio per il Lavoro 2010” organized by Manpower Italy).

Mar. 2009 – Dec. 2009 - Project Manager - Iberia - NeoMobile  Group

Based in HQ, worked in a task force specialized in the development of the business abroad, reporting to the International Business Development Manager.  Duties were related to the new European markets and they included:
  • Support/Manage the implementation of new projects, involving all relevant departments and third parties (such as ADV partners, Web/ Mobile affiliates and mobile operators), within agree timescales and budgets;
  • Developed and maintained documentation for projects plan and product requirements definition;
  • Conduct data analysis including basic statistical analysis. Tracking product performance against forecast in terms of cost of acquisition, revenues, active users, customer satisfaction and churn;
  • Be the central reference for new launches among Business, Marketing and Engineering teams, testing of new products and features.
Main Achievements:

After 6 months since joining the company I was given responsibility for managing the entire launch of a new mobile payment product based on a freemium model for a leading Global Social Network that led to an increase in Spanish revenues of about 50% vs the previous year.  120% achievement of 2009 targets (MBO). Awarded “Best New Entry 2009” prize.

Sep 2008 – Feb 2009 - Account Executive – Erlang Network Italy

Dealing with the sales of TIM (Italian mobile operator) B2B services including IT services, hardware/equipment, phone and internet contracts. Main activities included:
  • maintaining and developing relationships with clients, discuss and identify their requirements;
  • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
  • gathering market and customer information.
Main Achievements:

Registered highest sales of the Trainee Group during December. Developed skills in how to gain a clear understanding of customers’ requirements and sale products accordingly.

Selected and sponsored by the Bradford University to elaborate part of my dissertation at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the University of Perugia in Italy. Dissertation investigated the internationalization strategies of Italian SMEs.
