I had the privilege of working as an intern in one of the largest corporates with the most dynamic marketing models. I had vast experience and was responsible for the coordination, interlinking and inter-working of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and their customers. Evaluation of Delta Sparkling Beverages merchandisers in Harare and Bulawayo and the preparation of reports for management’s consideration. This exposed me to marketing strategy development and implementation.

Tasks included the following:

– Developing marketing strategies for different demographics, companies and products

– Follow up of the implementation of the marketing strategies

– Participation in high level meetings with executives

– Travel to various business locations

 

Innscor Africa Limited

Responsible for conducting in-store product demonstrations in the nation’s supermarkets of brands that are distributed by Innscor such as Fruit tree, Colgate and Ceres. This provided great for direct marketing.

Tasks included the following:

– Creating direct selling strategies for the demonstrations

– Training demonstrators on correct etiquette

– Liaising with clients

– Reporting on daily and periodic events

– Events management

New Life Bible Institute

This exciting position has stretched my marketing application on different models of institutions and products, in addition to adding vast experience in administration.

Responsibilities include

• Designing marketing models for the institution

• Participating in the strategy for the Bible school annually and periodically

• Reporting on periodic progress and review of the institute

• Coordinating the enrolment of students at the institute.

• Managing students’ financial accounts.

• Liaising with lecturers during the academic semester
