During my time at Ignition group, I have been instrumental in helping to bring all web designwork in-house. I was hired with the intention of ensuring bringing costs to company down, and I have achieved that by making sure that as much work as possible has been brought inhouse.

I have had a major focus on all email newsletters and learnt a severe amount of how best to code for email. I have also been focused of developing of several of the smaller sites for the company and rolling them out as fast as possible.

During my time I have also helped to create several of the multimedia projects for the company, including but not limited to the pre and post production of an animation video for the company values and company morale, as well as interactive event response.

My focus has been on ensuring that all new websites and email newsletters are built to be responsive and adaptive so that the entire consumer base of each brand can access the information.

INTERESTS AND CAREER PATH

I started off with a 3 year undergraduate degree, specialising in multi-media design. This lead to a love of web design and new media. In 2013 I followed this up with an honours degree in branding and brand leadership, which added a new element to the way I look at the internet and new media (such as social media).

I am fortunate to have chosen a tertiary program that I immediately associated with, and now have a passion for branding, design and anything related to the internet. I also find myself to be a passionate photographer in my spare time.

I have always participated in team sports such as rugby, cricket and hockey and consider myself to be an integral part of any team, whether on the sports field or during group assignments at Vega – particularly the annual Brand Challenge which is the highlight of each academic year.

I am an intensely loyal and motivated person and feel that my ability to work with people would make me a valuable asset to any company.
