PROJECT HISTORY

PROJECT ENGINEER – VARIOUS PROJECTS
(July 2012 – September 2013)

With a company called GEOTECH I worked on several projects varying in complexity and size including:

a. 2 double storey basement retention projects valued at $170,000 to $250,000

b. A railway underpass project valued at $2.5m

c. A fish lock project in rural NSW valued at $6.5m

d. A piling job being undertaken in a high-risk gas plant in rural Victoria and,

e. 2no. 150 metre anode well bores undertaken in a high-risk gas plant in rural Victoria.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR FOR THE AUGUST APARTMENTS
(September 2013 – September 2014)

Basement level carpark with 19 apartments over the above 3 levels (basement + 3 levels) valued at AUD$5 million.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR AND PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR THE STATION HOTEL
(September 2013 – March 2015)

Double level basement carpark, ground floor retail, storage and bike rack area with 41 apartments over the above 5 levels (double storey basement + 6 levels).

Positioned on a prominent street in Melbourne (Greville Street), the ground floor is split up into 5 retail shops and one food and drink premises.

Project involved retaining the existing façade and replicating the existing hotel roof as part of the heritage requirements set by town planning.

Project also involved a five story glazed curtain wall façade, the first of its kind to be made entirely in Australia. Valued at AUD$12 million.

PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE MECWA CARE DEVELOPMENT – SANDRINGHAM
(March 2015 – September 2015)

27no privatised retirement living apartments built for a non-for-profit organisation called MecwaCare.

Three levels of lightweight timber frame on a concrete ground floor slab.

Fully DDA compliant building. Accelerated program (8 month build). Valued at AUD$6 million.

Current projects include:

Head Quantity Surveyor for the Maple Apartments – Hawthorn (51 apartments and 1 retail space) Valued at AUD$12.6 million

Head Quantity Surveyor for the Coventry Apartments – South Melbourne (37 apartments, 3 retail, 1 office space and a roof top garden/BBQ) Valued at AUD$15 million
