Control Systems Engineer started career at Rolls-Royce plc in Derby UK. Installed and troubleshot many test stands for aeroengine components. Was flight test engineer for the flight certification of the Airbus 330 with Rolls-Royce engines.
Became Senior service engineer for a machine manufacturer and relocated to the US. Moved to be Senior Electrical Engineer at AET plastic plant in VA. Now Plant Engineer in a plastics plant in GA.

Electronic Systems and Control Engineer (1987-1997)

• Conducted troubleshooting on control systems in the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics, cryogenics, electromechanical devices, temperature, flow, speed, position, load, pressure, and sequencing.

• Coordinated the installation and commissioning of any new instrumentation required by four international companies who were responsible for various components on the engines.

• Developed a small fast response air pressure system for testing electronic aeroengine controllers. This has been adopted by BMWRR in Germany.

• Designed the control system, planned and managed the installation and commissioning of an £800K hydro-mechanical rig for testing electronic aero engine controllers, which was completed and running within the specified five-week shutdown period.

• Provided front line support to test rigs including : thermal shock rigs, hydro-mechanical rigs, fuel rigs, pneumatic rigs, spinning rigs and cryogenic rigs. Successfully resolved all problems allowing tests to continue thus reducing lost time.

• Managed an investigation into the loss of two £250K test pieces due to motor speed control instability. Instigated immediate short term solutions and recommended long term solution, which was implemented
