• Channel Tunnel Rail Link– Contract 220, Stratford Box (New Railway) – Client: NCS JV

Responsibilities

1. Checked all track alignment data and coordinating TBM operations with the various Subcontractors.

2. Managed the Survey section of the Tunnel Survey operations.

3. Checked and liaising with the design consultants with regards to final scheme.

4. Managed and completing project on time and achieving the recommended profit margin of 9%.

5. Produced Inspection test plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statement for the various operations.

6. Drafted contract management plan for the various schemes.

• AMEC CAPITAL PROJECTS: Working as Senior Site Engineer in extending the Berth 39 at Tilbury Docks. Work done included Piling works, Earthworks, Sea wall Protection, Roads/Pavements and Drainage works.

• MAGEE CONSTRUCTION LTD: Working as Section Engineer addressing all Earthworks Setting out requirements, including Foundations for some of the building structures.

Canary Wharf Development, Canary Wharf – Project Construction of Citibank and HSBC Headquarters (DS5 and DS2) – Client: Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd. From Sept 1999 to May 2001 Position: Section Engineer Responsibilities

1. Managed the Cost plan for the Project, including the developing ‘Valued Engineering Procedures’ to minimise cost and complete the project on time and under Budget.

I hold a NEBOSH qualification, with several In-house training by Carillion and Balfour Beatty. I am also a first aider and have been managing my sites without any safety issues to date. I hold SMSTS Certification and Construction Site Manager CSCS Card.
