Job Description

  • Managing a team of procurement professionals throughout the whole procurement day to day activities covering operational and project oriented procurement Including but not limited to Planning(after spend analysis and volume analysis), Tendering “including reviewing specifications and requirements with end users. , Analysis and Evaluation, Negotiation, Contracting, pre award and Post award vendor management “ for sourcing of goods , products, services and turn key projects, in alignment with the established procurement manual set by the management, Ensuring fulfillments of department KPI’s by applying a mixture of traditional and strategic procurement processes, mainly from UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudia Arabia “GCC”, China, Turkey , Egypt and Pakistan .
  • Review Technical specifications of submitted proposals and ensure compliance to the organizations compliance requirements
  • Negotiate high value projects ensuring selection of  optimum total cost of ownership
  • Manage Vendor/supplier through vendor management process including pre-award vendor management, and measuring Vendor performance “Including but not limited to: Quality of deliverables, Onsite support, Cost optimization…etc.
  • Develop and implement the procurement processes and policies through applying the gained knowledge of the Supply Chain Process & Management.
  • Key coordinator between the organization procurement unit and the group procurement department in UAE.
