SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER

ENGRO is one of Pakistan’s largest private sectors which vertically integrated. The company was set up in 1997 by the name of ENGRO Asahi Polymer and Chemical Ltd. In 2007, the Company embarked upon an expansion and back integration project to enhance the PVC capacity to 150 KT and set up an EDC-Vinyl chloride and Chlor-alkali plants.

My core responsibilities at ENGRO POLYMER include but not limited to:

 Effective negotiation with suppliers on high value contracts and procurement

 Maintaining and providing a current understanding of industry best practices and trends like TCO, Customer value profiling.

 Suppliers’ evaluation on the basis of Total cost of ownership including price, quality, service support, availability, reliability, and selection.

 Assisting Head of Supply Chain in high value & high risk contracts.

 Monitoring and reporting the performance of supplier head of supply chain on fortnightly basis

 Developing sourcing strategy and lead supplier selection process

 Inventory Valuation ABC Analysis & Inventory Adjustment

 Prepare weekly and monthly supplier analysis reports.

 Participation in business process, Value Stream Mapping & improvement activities

 Provide input and help to develop Marketing and business capture plans and strategies

 Provide co-ordination and preparation support for Business Development reviews.

 Foreign Purchase Requisition Preparation and necessary approvals.

 Perform cost analysis on various initiatives like analyze labor, material and overhead rates.

 Support management/ownership with cost and inventory analysis figures.
