Static Equipment Senior Engineer in Technip India Limited (From Apr 2015 to till date)

Static Equipment Engineer in Technip India Limited (From Jul 2010 to Mar 2015)

More than 6 years of working experience in FEED and detailed engineering services pertaining to Static Equipment (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns and Storage Tanks) for Refineries, Petrochemicals, LNG services of Onshore and Offshore plants.

Preparation of Mechanical datasheets, design and supply specifications for Pressure vessels, S&T Heat exchangers, Columns and other static equipment.

Experience in Proposal Engineering viz. weight / cost estimation and Man-hour estimation and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities.

Evaluation of vendor offer and Technical bid tabulation before awarding contract to manufacturers.

YAMAL LNG Project (RUSSIA) (From October 2013 to till date)

LNG plant (has three 5.5 MTPA LNG train) located in Arctic region with very low ambient temperature conditions. Client – JSC YAMAL LNG (JV of Novatek, Total and CNPC).

Project involves Modular construction with an MDMT of -50°C. Modules are fabricated at various yards around the world.

Exposure to Russian codes and regulations (GOST-R and TR CU requirements).

Involved in preparation of Mechanical Datasheets of Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers and Columns.

Performed design calculations for Blast resistance and Module Transportation design conditions which involves main equipment design and design of vessel-nozzle junction for imposed transportation loads.

Requisition Engineer for vendor drawing review of Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Vessel Internals.

Project involves coordination with Paris, Lyon (France), Chiyoda (Japan), St. Petersburg (Russia) and Milton Keynes (UK) operating centers of Technip.

Handled most critical equipment viz. Flare KO Drums, HP MR Separator, C3 Vaporizers train

 

OMSK REFINERY Project (RUSSIA) (From September 2015 to till date)

CDU / VDU Refinery complex project located at Omsk city of Russia. OMSK refinery is one of the largest refinery complexes in the world with 21.5 MMTA capacity. Client – JSC GAZPROMNEFT-ONPZ.

Preparation of Mechanical Data sheets of Pressure vessels and Heat Exchangers.

Taken responsibility as Lead Engineer and successfully managed a team of engineers and draughtsman.

 

USGC PETROCHEMICALS Project (USA) (From March 2014 to September 2014)

USGC petrochemicals project include 1 MMTA polyethylene facilities (two 0.5 MMTA plants) located at Texas, USA. Client – Chevron Phillips Chemical.

Exposure to CHEVRON standards & specifications and PIP standards.

Project involves coordination with Houston (USA) and Mumbai (India) operating centers of Technip.

Requisition Engineer for vendor drawing review of Pressure vessels having top mounted Agitators.

Project involves design of equipment for MACA (Maximum allowable corrosion allowance).

Working exposure in Adobe LiveCycle tool for the vendor drawing review activities.

 

MARTIN LINGE Project (NORWAY) (From July 2013 to December 2013)

Offshore platform located in North Sea for Total. Platform construction in consortium with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI). Client – Total E&P Norge.

Preparation of Mechanical Datasheets for Cladded Pressure vessels, Shell & Tube Heat exchangers and tall vessels with Guides.

 

SAUDI ELASTOMERS Project (SAUDI ARABIA) (From March 2013 to October 2014)

Saudi Elastomers project include 110,000 TPA Halobutyl facility using ExxonMobil technology. Client – Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA) – JV between SABIC & ExxonMobil.

Project involves high level of confidentiality as per client requirements.

Coordinated with Abu-Dhabi (UAE) and Rome (Italy) operating centers of Technip during execution.

Exposure to SABIC specifications and standards.

 

ALGIERS REFINERY Project (ALGERIA) (From January 2012 to February 2013)

Rehabilitation and Adaptation project include revamp of existing Algiers Refinery from 2.7 MTPA to 3.6 MTPA capacity. Client – Sonatrach.

Involved in preparation of Mechanical Data sheets of Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers and Storage Tanks.

Requisition Engineer for vendor drawing review of Columns and Column Internals (Trays and associated calculations).

 

NOCL DCU Project (INDIA) (From January 2011 to January 2012)

Project includes Delayed Coker Unit facility of 6 MTPA at NOCL Refinery complex located in Cuddalore, India. Client – Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Limited (NOCL).

Exposure to UOP and EIL standards and specifications for static equipment.
