 Design and Implementation of eGovernment application using mandoforms

 Propose a new business model allowing residents to subscribe to SMS services for any major road works disruptions, school closures, accidents, in the Dudley borough. The suggestion was accepted and has been brought forward to the board meetings.

 Designed and developed new website front-end to incorporate with the new corporate image for the council. These include producing sitemaps, storyboard and develop a new prototype for the

ICT business unit.

 Hosting the new corporate website in the Internet Information Service (IIS) 5 and let other staff to perform a user acceptance testing (UAT) before going live

 Created Dudley council’s word templates which are currently used throughout the council as standardised templates i.e. letter head, memorandum, facsimile, agenda and minutes. This involved organising and chair meeting with customers.

 Tested new hardware i.e. tablet PC, Digital web-cam and written a user manual highlighting new features and compare it to normal business laptop.

 Evaluate and redesign previous e-government forms and to ensure most forms are on the live server before the 2005 deadline. The government’s independent monitoring body officially recognised and thanked the ICT services department for the hard work in meeting the
government’s target.
