Duties & Responsibilities:
• Heading all EPC and O&M Proposals of Water and Wastewater treatment Projects

• Manage individual proposal efforts so that the proposals are completed and delivered to the customer on time, in conformity with the customer’s requirements and proposal plan, and within the budget.

• Organize staff and lead KN team to ensure proposal targets are achieved and met in conformance with the RFP requirements.

• Coordinate with Contracts, in reviewing the prime contract documents and data, develop risk profiles and establishes plans, schedule and budgets for proposal obligations and review the technical input.

• Take the lead in co-coordinating the planning and execution of the work with organizations such as Operation, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction, Commissioning and other services to achieve a compliant Proposal.

• Initiate and direct the planning and development of the Preliminary Project Execution Plan (PPEP), scope definition, project procedures, budgets, and project schedules.

• Review Proposal Summary and lead the presentation of the Proposal to KN senior management for their review and approval.

• Ensure that all Client’s contacts, including major correspondence and working relationships between KN and the Client, is maintained throughout the duration of the proposal. Monitors and controls all contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the RFP, specifications, drawings and “terms and conditions” of the RFP.

• Review procurement strategy to ensure compatibility with proposal project plans, schedules, and budget.

• Conducts periodic proposal and Client’s meetings to review progress and discuss issues. To ensure the project teams resolve problems involving co-ordination, schedule and the setting of priorities.

• Prepare or direct the preparation of progress and special reports to KN management.

• Provide, on behalf of KN, for the administration of consultants providing engineering services, construction services, materials, or equipment for the proposal.

• Report to UDC General Manager (UDC is the Project Company for the concession)

• Review, in accordance to EPC contract and FIDIC, the evaluation of all Proposal Variations submitted by the EPC contractor

• Review all approved Variation Orders issued by UDC site management.

• Recommend variation Orders as appropriate.

• Assist in preparing RFP to the Client

• Ensure that the award and administration of contracts on projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

• Monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work.

• Formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and / or pricing.

• Assist in the review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by subcontractors.

• Assist in the preparation of change orders to the prime contract between company and client.
