Under the CFP, Kuwait National Petroleum Co. integrating and upgrading the 270,000-b/d Mina Abdullah and 466,000-b/d Mina Al Ahmadi refineries and close the 200,000-b/d refinery at Shuaiba. The newly integrated refineries to operate as a merchant complex with total capacity of about 800,000 b/d. Capacity of the new refinery at Al Zour in southern Kuwait, which will mainly supply low-sulfur fuel to Kuwaiti power plants and yield products for export, will be 615,000 b/d.
Lead the CDU team and Sub Lead for HYDROCRACKER units. Issued deliverables as per the planned schedule. Prepared and reviewed the deliverables PFD, DPDT,UFD,UDD,P&IDs, Pump Hydraulics, Line sizing and hydraulics, Control valve calculations, PSV orifice sizing, inlet and out let line sizing, Vessel Sizing, Compressor calculations. Preparation of various process deliverables such as Process Data Sheets, Instrument Data Sheets, Line List, Equipmet List, Design Basis Documents, study reports with recommendations for modifications to existing systems. Implemented digital control of industrial process variable such as temperature from the Shell and Tube heat exchanger outlet in the CO2 refrigeration plant using PLC.

Coordinated the Basic Engineering for new refrigerated CO2 Tanks to Pepsi. Project involved install new CO2 storage tank, new boil off compressor and associated works. Performed simulation for estimation of boil- off loads and for refrigeration system. Involved in preparation of PFD’S and P&ID’s
Implemented to use boiling point elevated (BPE) vapor from storage tank into the cylinders through compressor, which avoid venting to the atmosphere if the tank existing at abnormal pressure
Initiated safer method for loading and unloading operation of compressed liquids also prepared MSDS and TREM card
Participated both internal and external ISO audits, also a part of audit conducted by COCA- COLA Ltd.
