I have 21years experience with local government Fire Service where I was an operational Watch Manager, responsible for 13 firefighters maintaining an operational response in our community. This involved maintaining competence of crews, training of personnel, health and safety, operational command, communications and implementing safe systems of work in dynamic and dangerous environments. Regular exercises and training were held with Humberside Airport Fire personnel as they were local.

Instructed at Service Headquarters teaching operational courses and new recruits to operational competence prior to this I served for 12 years in the Armed Forces as a corporal in the Engineer Commandos.
