Profile

I have my basic card in scaffolding and have  been working as a scaffolder most of my working life,  onshore and offshore.  I   had a 3 year stint where I worked as an industrial cleaner offshore as well in-between scaffolding jobs.

June 2013 to September 2014

BIS Salamis – Aberdeen

During this time I worked on the Gannet project doing all aspects of scaffolding from working over the side too erecting large birdcages on the platform. Then the last 6months with this company I was working as adhoc on various platforms.

Cape – Dan Helder

During this time I worked as an adhoc going to  various satellite rigs which they were upgrading to  man platforms so a lot of scaffolding work in all aspects of tube and fitting

Worked as adhoc going to shutdown to clean out tanks and using uhp-hp water jetting.

During this time I worked on large scale job on the Croke Park sSadium which is the largest stadium in Republic of Ireland doing all kinds of scaffolding from tube and fitting to cup lock.

During this time I worked at nigg bay where I learned my trade in the building of the Elgin franklin the last rig built in Scotland it was agreat insight of every thing in the industry there was 3000+ trades men on the job so I got a great understanding not only in scaffolding but also very large projects ie tool box talks risk assessment’s and working on a very busy platform safely.

I’m a computer geek having been using them since I could talk,  from the basic spectrum 48k computer right up to  today’s Ipads/pcs.
