Profile

I am a hardworking, organised and creative person currently living in Moscow. I have a degree in foreign policy from Lomonosov Moscow State University. As part of my studies I worked as an intern in the State Duma’s Department of International Cooperation and as an intern journalist for the Information Telegraph Agency of Russia (ITAR TASS). Through these internships I took part in international conferences, attended and assisted ministers at meetings with various heads of state and whilst interning as a journalist wrote articles for ITAR TASS. These organizations provided my first experience of serious work as a personal assistant, translator, event organiser, journalist and team manager. Later I was also invited to be a paid assistant to a Russian designer during the Moscow Fashion Week. The fashion week was a unique chance to challenge myself in a new industry and I am proud of the success our team had and the amazing show we created.

At the moment I’m working for a small company called English Lessons In Moscow. I really enjoy working here as it helps me to realise my potential by working both individually and in a team. From working here I’ve developed my communication and presentation skills as I deal with clients. As all of my colleagues are English and I’m the only employee who speaks Russian I have also gained experience working with legal documents and the accountancy process, communicating with clients, being an interpreter during business meetings and leading several individual projects. And I also have a unique opportunity to develop my language skills and have the pleasure of working with people from many different cultures.
