These systems control coil tubing equipment for use in the oil industry. These systems comprised of various electrical components like Pressure transmitters, proportional valves, valve controllers, joysticks, barriers/ isolators. The majority of these systems where operating in hazardous areas therefore required intrinsically safe circuits and special (traceable) low smoke zero halogen cable. I was responsible for ordering, installing and logging this cable to ensure its traceability.
