Offshore Salvage (Iraq).

• As an offshore Air diver on OSV VALIANT EAGLE in the northern Arabian Gulf assisting in the salvage of a 35000 GT bulk carrier loaded with a cargo of cement. These works were very challenging due to near zero visibility and a very high tidal current flow at this location.

• Despite these difficult conditions, the diving operation to repair the hull was completed without incident.

• Assisted the surface crew with cutting open the sealed hatch covers, breaking out the cargo of cement by use of a Cardox System then water jetting pumping out of all the flooded compartments to refloat the vessel.
