 Prepare permit as per method of statement and to complete all the signatories and all the necessary document need prior to start the work.  Witness and Supervise hydrotest preparation to make sure all test limits are followed as per blinding activities insure all that blind installed are followed the correct thick as per project standard. Ensure that P & ID and Isometric drawings are matching, venting location, all removable items are remove, followed the correct gasket rating and bolt requirements.

 Witness and Supervise Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as flushing/ air blowing, system tightness/leak testing and nitrogen purging of piping systems. Conduct line walk down for system that issued for High pressure leak test (HPLT) for final verification of issued punch list prior for release for testing.

Ensure proper materials bolt, gasket and proper torque value as per project specification requirement. PIPING INSPECTOR

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Surveillance and monitoring of daily welding and piping site and fabrication activities of subcontractor to ensure proper compliance of welding procedure specification and piping erection procedure.

Check and review welder qualification if meet welding procedure specification. Check and monitor consumables storage and handling, issuance and return slip of each welder. Check calibration certificate of welding equipment, electrode mill certificate.

Conduct inspection for sea water line piping (RTR/GRP) from fit up, bonding, support installation, flange management, bolt torqueing, punch listing, testing and reinstatement

 Monitor proper welding shelter and proper pre-heating for each welder before start welding due to below zero degree temperature. Conduct daily inspection on material storage to ensure properly protected, and segregated.

Witness all PT and MT joints as well as repair with joints with partial excavation to ensure that defect was properly remove before re-welding.

 Coordinate to NDT subcontractor regarding RT JOINT, MT/PT JOINT, UT JOINT and PWHT JOINT. Review and check test packages prior to hydro testing to check all NDE requirements meet as per project specification. Check and review isometric drawings as test loop requirement and boundaries if matching with welding history sheet.
