Duties/Responsibilities:
Reviewing Material Submittals, drawing submittals, chairing weekly progress meetings, preparation of Weekly and monthly reports, preparing all quality documents.

• Responsible for managing complete Project Quality Management includes contractual requirements.

• Responsible to supervise over all work execution in order to ensure Quality requirements are being followed.

• Maintain very strong and good relationship with the client and consultants.

• Monitor preparation of shop drawing and related material submittal and follow up with the consultant for the early approvals.

• Inculcate the spirit of togetherness and team work among the project team.

• Have regular site walk with the Quality team members to ensure the quality implementation at site.

• Issuing NCR against Subcontractor’s works where non-conformance identified and ensure appropriate/agreed corrective actions are carried out on agreed date.

• Responsible to verify the effectiveness of corrective action and enhance it when necessary in conjunction with Project Manager.

• Surveillance on the testing & commissioning activities to ensure equipment/machinery performance meeting with project/contractual requirements.

• Verifying executing personnel are using updated/ current Approved shop drawings (IFC) at site and ensure the earlier version drawings are stamped as ‘SUPERSEDED’ to avoid unintended usage.

• Responsible for Controlling of documents includes Drawings, Formats, Checklist, Inspection requests with unique references in order to retrieve easily.

• Responsible to conduct periodical visit to material storage yards/locations in order to ensure the material stored based on the manufacturer recommendations.

• Direct involvement of Field testing and sampling to ensure the process in systematic procedures.

• Witnessing field tests along with consultant/client representatives and convey the results to execution team in case of any deficiency in the same.

• Preparation and set-up On-site laboratory and supervising the testing process for various materials.

• Verifying Third party Test reports/results based on Project Specification/ contractual requirements and initiate corrective actions if required.

• Responsible to ensure all As-built drawings are incorporated changes in case of any modifications have been carried out during construction stages.

• Conducting Quality workshops for low level staffs like site engineer, foreman, charge hand and workers to focus importance of quality and educate towards quality.

• Issuing NCR to the Suppliers whenever non-conformance identified during incoming material inspections and ensures Non-conformance or damaged products/materials are segregated cum tagged at storage locations to avoid unintended usage.

• Responsible to Verify sub-contractor submitted materials against Project specifications/ requirements prior to forward to client for Approval.

• Responsible to prepare Quality Assurance manual, Project Quality Plan, Quality control Procedures and Inspection Test plans etc.

• Responsible to reply all quality issues to consultants/Clients & Sub-contractors.

• Solo responsible for preparation and submission of all project close out dossier including final handing over without comments.

1. Construction of Al-Wakrah stadium enabling works for KEO International Consultants to Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (Qatar FIFA 2022).

2. Construction of Technical and Customer care buildings (Head Quarters) for M/S. Ooredoo Telecom-Qatar (QR 500 Million).

3. Construction of Staff access control facilities and allied works for New Doha International Airport (NDIA) – QR 800 Million.

4. Construction of school of business buildings and associated facilities for Qatar University (QR 750 Million).

 Responsible to Raise Inspection requests (INR) in advance for completed works or prior starting works in order to obtain consultant/ client Approvals.

 Raise Non-conformance reports (NCR) against activities which are not complying with Approved shop drawing, Method statement and Inspection Test plans and Project specifications.

 Responsible to inspect all Incoming materials while delivery to project site and ensure its compliance with project specifications/ requirements.
