DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fabrication and Erection :

● Familiar with fit-up of piping, and pipelines for dimensional, accuracy and materials being used

●carried out visual inspection on various pipelines activities like pipe bending stringing , lowering cleaning and Gauging

●inspection of pipelines Dryings activities

●Inspections of fabrication and Erection of GRE PIPES

●Carry out Visual inspection on shop and field weld for various material piping according to ITP method statements, project standards and codes

●Monitoring of welding consumables as per issuing and baking register

●issues related to valves, special instruments, insulation and bolted joints to be noticed to the engineering and construction

● Coordination with NDT coordinator for conducting the NDT – NDT request. Interpretation and documentation

●Review of the percentage of RT shoot for welder or welding joints as per project requirements

HYDRO- TESTING ACTIVITIES

● Carrying out punch list and checking if points (A) closed

●Review of documents for test packages with client, included P&ID drawing, welding summary material take off and all reports for Hydro Test

●Walk down with client

●Witnessing of hydro test (piping and pipeline)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

●Welding consumable requirements and control

●Witnessing NDT, PWHT and PMI, Hardness, Ferrite, Impact test and other Destructive test and reports reviewing

●Line inspection and punch listing of piping work

●Carry out Audit; prepare checklist and audit reports, surveillance reports, and nonconformance reports. Specifying corrective /preventive action

●Reviewing of final documents and attending final inspection of completed systems including pressure test of piping system

●Coordinating with third party inspectors and client

●Preparation of welder performance reports

●Coordinating with NDT co-coordinator for conducting the NDT – request, interpretation and documentation

●Handling inspection stages like preparation of NDE plane, weld map and liaison with party agency related to NDE clearance acceptance

●Perform mechanical and welding punch list according to construction drawings specification and code requirements for piping

●Prepare punch listing for pipe systems before hydro and pneumatic test and review the test package for piping and extract piping engineering info from drawing, P&ID and issue the punch list items and follow up clearance activities
