Profile

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from India (1994), I have worked at various location across the globe in the area of Project Management. Engineering and coordination with exposure to the frame of work of both CLIENT & CONTRACTOR. I am a patient, hardworking, communicative, people oriented, effective and skillful person both on a personal level as well as in the workplace.

Over 20 + years of experience in upstream OIL & GAS sector with specialization in Project Management covering the entire scope of project ( Project Execution, Monitoring and Control, Risk management, Cost and Schedule management, HSE and Quality Management, Communication Management and Project closure exercises)  in various contracting strategy mode ( EPC, EPCIC and PC). Assigned in PETRONAS Malaysia Petroleum Management unit overseeing projects within Malaysian region. Job purpose includes project execution and implementation of projects managed by PSC in Sarawak region covering shallow water to deep water developments. Also implement an effective working system to ensure facility aspect during all project phases are optimally executed to achieved timely, cost effective and quality project specification and compliance in accordance with PETRONAS FDP guidelines, policies and objectives.

DETAIL OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Deployment (and improvement) of standardized project management work flow (PPMW) of PETRONAS.

 Ensure and review compliance with HSE policy, procedures, processes and standards

 Participation in Gated process for development project

 Participation in various milestone review till project is sanctioned

 Review of Project Charter and Project Master road map( PMR)

 Ensure scope is executed as per FDP and agreed strategies, plans, budgets and schedules.

 Single point accountability for delivery as per project objectives, including design, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, start-up, and final handover acceptance.

 Accountable for FEED/EPC Contract management, compliance and performance.

 Review of WPB & YEP ( Work Plan and Budget, Year-end Projection)) and resource allocation

 Review of project deliverables, PEP, contracting strategy (OCS), Tender Plan (TP), ITB, TER, TCEAR etc. as per project master road map.

 Participation in various performance and technical audits during and after project is sanctioned and also during execution or the project.

 Initiates and approves the preparation of overall work programs, terms of reference for contractors, projects standards and working procedures. Establishes the basis for project execution phase
