Representing two multi-million pound projects (“Global London 2009-2013” and “Emerging Growth 2013-2015”) from the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), London’s largest ERDF project, which helps small and medium-sized organizations from London overcome barriers to international trade.
Working under Head of Programmes in quality control, implementation, and planning of both European Union projects from ERDF in the UKTI London office, monitoring positive outcomes from the European funding from UKTI London companies, such as generating new sales overseas, increased business performance, new joint ventures, business assists, and creating local London jobs.
Liaising internally with various departments in the UKTI London office, such as with the International Trade Advisors, Marketing, Trade Missions, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), both creating an efficient work-flow, as well as achieve overall office and European Union project targets .
Communicating with external clients and observing and analysing potential benefits of UKTI London services, as well as attending UKTI events and meeting clients with future success stories, later collaborating with the UKTI London’s press and marketing team for potential business case studies / PR.
Reporting and forecasting ERDF project and outcome justifications to both Head of Programmes and other upper management, as well as collaborating with Programme Coordinator, who primarily is responsible for the finances, procurement, and other daily operations of the ERDF project.
Undertaking proper European Union procurement guidelines and implementing them in the UKTI London office, as well as participating in major tender exercises.
