Profile

A highly motivated, confident and fast learning individual with a diverse range of sporting, customer service and administration experience specifically within cricket both commercially, as a player and as a coach. I have also experienced working within different sports and understand the diverse sporting world as a result of my sport and exercise science undergraduate study, of which I graduated with a 2:1 classification. I have experience working in an office from a financial, business development and account management setting.

Since the age of 13 I have worked within cricket and outside of the sporting world, allowing me to have experience managing and organising plan my life around academic and sporting achievement. My sporting career and studies have given me a holistic outlook and has enabled me to see things from a business outlook within elite organisations. I have worked in offices for companies that employ over 100 people. The positions in which I have worked have enabled me to understand firstly the hard work that goes into achieving personal goals and bettering myself, secondly the importance of team dynamic and the use of common goals to achieve success both within competition and from a business sense and finally to plan, implement and organise myself, my customers and my team through coaching programs successfully to enhance others.

My work outside of cricket has been primarily in sales and customer service roles, therefore I am experienced talking to people outside of the sporting world, most recently managing accounts in excess of £25,000 for a company providing tuition to government clients, including understanding National curriculum levels. I have also been responsible for business development within the company, where I have needed to source and sell to new leads.

My specific cricket experience has also enabled me to travel the world and work and play with all different nationalities and walks of life. Living away provided me with the opportunity to experience foreign culture and adapt to any working environment in which I am placed, I feel this has given me the ability to fit seamlessly and effectively into any team or organisation. My more recent work within schools has broadened my experiences with regards to the input required to better school cricketers.
