PR and Marketing Assistant – Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa

Provide B2B and B2C strategic and tactical support in PR, marketing and social media activities and campaigns, to deliver revenue targets, generate and maximise brand awareness, as well as implementing consistent four-star luxury brand standards at all times. Acted as the PR and Marketing Executive on two occasions for 3 months at a time.

Responsibilities and achievements:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with press to secure national and regional editorial coverage across key target media titles.

• First point of contact for all PR outreach. Both pro-active and reactive to all media requests including: press visits and reviews, features, competitions and reader offers.

• Write press releases/editorial articles, demonstrating excellent written communication skills.

• Oversee press database; update press and contact lists via Gorkana.

• Regularly update website content/ functions through Content Management System (CMS).

• Proven fluency and training in social media strategy direct and via Hootsuite.
