Responsibilities

• As the Portfolio Manager, I report to the Directors daily and work directly with the Marketing Manager and Sales and Sponsorship personnel to maximise sector revenue and performance.

• Interview, recruit, train, mentor, manage and support producers and senior producers to ensure standards of quality are met, speaker expenses are budgeted for and approved, all elements of the production cycle are being carried out correctly and deadlines are hit, in addition to monitoring performance and progress with regular appraisals.

• My aim is to have detailed knowledge of how each event is performing, scheduling weekly meetings with the team to devise a plan of action to maximise event profitability and ensure comprehensive marketing activity.

• Initiate and maintain relationships with KOLs within the pharma series with at least four external meetings a year.

• Identify and prioritise key tasks on a daily basis within a 24 day conference production cycle to meet the KPIs required to ensure a high-caliber and successful event, producing 9 conferences per annum with 2 workshops per event.

• Research, generate and propose new topics to the board of Directors for future conferences in the forward schedule.

• Excellent organisational skills are required along with effective time management and a keen eye for detail when working across different conference projects simultaneously with demonstrable skills in content driven research, brochure design, speaker acquisition, website design and finalising pharmaceutical conference projects.

• Adept at responding quickly to rapid changes in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines to meet.

• An excellent communicator, conscientious, emotionally intelligent and adapt well to different situations. Senior managers have praised my work and commitment.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the smooth running and success of the Pharmaceutical Sector.

 

Interests

I play scrum half for Teddington Ladies and I’m also the Junior Girls Team Manager and Coach. I have my own blog; Rhiannon’s Rugby Union Blog and I am employed by Fifteen Rugby to cover Premiership games on weekends and I voluntarily blog for BT Sport. I also have 8 years sailing experience and have previously been a sailing assistant. I’ve done one half marathon and I’m set to do another in 2016.
