Short Bio:

I have spent the past 7 years of my career gaining invaluable experience and contributing considerably to the success of Schlumberger. After working in arctic-like weathers of -40ºC on projects for some of the largest oil companies in the world, I was tasked to lead a team of 30 employees in the arid summer heat of South Texas, where I became the youngest manager to ever lead that district.

Field Service Manager Schlumberger Ltd., Mission, Texas
January 2013 August 2015

● Managed a district comprised of employees from Schlumberger and E&P Wireline Services. Implemented strong assimilation programs to accommodate both groups and ensured a smooth transition and integration into the district.

● Successfully led, supervised and managed the technical and professional development of a team of 30 employees. Through group and individualized training, over 10 employees were promoted within the district and corporately.

● Standardized and streamlined processes to ensure service provided to clients was consistent and up to standards.

● Increased district’s Earnings Before Tax (EBT) from 17% of revenue to +15% by end of 2013, and to +17% by end of 2014,

exceeding the target of +10%. This was achieved by constantly monitoring the P&L statements and controlling inventories of supplies and fixed assets.

● Increased revenue from $350K to $500K per month by end of 2013, and to $625K per month by end of 2014, by growing business from existing clients and signing new clients. I also moved operations to a larger facility and doubled staff and equipment to accommodate the increase in demand.

● Ensured company policies and local regulations were understood and implemented by conducting regular audits.

Engineer in Charge Schlumberger Ltd., Norman Wells, Northwest Territories, Canada
April 2012 December 2012

● Supervised a crew of 6 employees and successfully completed the multiwell tracer project for Imperial Oil.

● Led the team in performing wireline operations in arcticlike weather conditions, with limited support from the main district.

● Completed all necessary radiation and explosives surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations and

company policies.

● Invited to join the HR Recruiting team on three different occasions to fly across North America looking for new talent.

Field Engineer Schlumberger Ltd., Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada
December 2008 March 2012

● Selected for and successfully crosstrained from the Open Hole to the Cased Hole Wireline divisions, giving me the expertise required to be placed on diverse projects.

● Coordinated several very high profile 24hour projects for over three months; acted as the focal point for all aspects of the project and led the operation from the planning phases to the final stages.

● Wrote the location standard operating procedures (LSOP) for the facility and created a website with all the relevant entries to ensure compliance and consistency.

● Started the QS Committee to review service quality incidents and eliminate the root causes using the loss causation mode.

● Maintained excellent relationships with clients, management and coworkers. I was specifically requested by clients on several occasions and was even flown in once from vacation to complete a job.
