Responsibilities:

• This position reports to the Petroleum Exploration (Pvt) Ltd. Field Manager, Islamabad, Pakistan and is responsible for providing all Production Engineering and field/ well data services.

• This position reports to the Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd. (OGDCL) Field Manager and is responsible for providing all Production Engineering and field/ well data services.

• Coordinated Well Servicing Jobs including Nitrogen Kick-off, PSP & Buildup job,Acid Stimulation, BHP survey and a number of wire line/ slick line jobs conducted by various service companies at well sites

• Conducted various routine production operations, maintenance of production facilities and preparation of daily well production/ operations reports.

• Designed, managed, and engineered the production systems, performed DST with the help of Schlumberger at Mela-2 and Qadirpur-34 wells OGDCL field, assisted in Well Completion with Weatherford for their CCL survey and in setting Wire-line retrievable packer.

• Provide all Petroleum Engineering input for optimal reservoir development through sound reserves management practices.

• Used Nodal Analysis and its applications in order to evaluate the overall performance of well.

Position: Production Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert level support to Well Operations in drilling and completions cementing technology

• Technical and operational input to testing, well completion and well intervention programs

• Ensure company HSE policies and procedures are effectively implemented

• Provide technical input in determining the Authority for Expenditure of Oil and Gas wells

PRESENT ASSIGNMENTS

• Prepare production forecasts for wells using analytical approach.

• Monitor daily well progress; provide verbal and written technical input as required to well operations/production department, Prepare well supplemental programs and specifications.

• Preparation of Daily/Monthly Production Reports. History data sheets.

• Estimate in order to determine reservoir simulation employing well modeling techniques by making use of well deliverability and reservoir properties.

• To coordinate with service companies during Stimulation/Testing/Completion activities at well sites.

• Coordinate with Joint Venture partners regarding data sharing and determining the potential of oil/gas well and discuss the possibilities for Production optimization through technical discussions and workshops.

• Clearing the invoices of Well services activities performed on the respective oil/gas well

• Evaluate the effect of water injection in carbonate reservoirs of OGDCL operated fields using fall-off test to evaluate injectivity performance prior to oil production by re-defining, if required, water injection scenarios for optimum recovery. Investigation of reasons why water could not be effectively injected as recommended in the previous study and its remedy in collaboration with Well Services companies.

• Prepare production strategy and forecasts of Chanda, Mela and Nashpa (OGDCL) fields, keeping in view the present plant constraint and production history and Gas & LPG sale contracts.

• Identify early opportunities for increasing production and decreasing operating & capital costs as part of technical support team.

• Maintain and monitor fittings, tools and equipment inventory.
