Planning/Organisation:

• As operations team leader it was my job to ensure all preparation, planning and job execution were done to complete the job to the client specifications and as such I was the main point of contact between client and contractor in the field.

• In office and at rigsite pre-planning operations meetings, reviews, safety meetings, and liaising with different departments were a vital part of daily operations.

Leadership and Training:

• Lead Directional Driller and LWD (logging while drilling) Engineer in remote locations onshore in West Africa. Quick decisions needed to be made based on operational requirements, factoring in time constraints (costs), peoples abilities and HSE factors.

• Mentor and assessor to junior engineers and directional drillers.

• Undertaken formal Team Leadership training

• All HSE training and certificates (including offshore medical) completed for normal field operations.

• Worked as Client Representative on Site and Pipeline Inspection survey operations.

Communications:

• Experienced to working alone or with a team in remote locations to tight financial or time constraints.

Projects – 2014 Lead Directional Driller – 6 well Diga Project for Perenco Oil and Gas, Gamba Field, Gabon.

Pre job – positional data QC, BHA and operational requirements, drilling bit selection.
