HVAC Manager/Millwright  for support services, Southern Afghanistan. Responsible for all maintenance matters in a US air base and satellite facilities. Working with a wide range of HVAC equipments, fabrication, telecommunications, electrical works, construction projects and mechanical operations . Responsible for 40 staff including supervisors and technicians, surveying and quoting for new works, health & safety and recruitment. Responsible for the HVAC upgrade to the world’s largest single site catering contract.

A fully qualified Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration engineer/team leader with experience in maintenance, installations, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs including electrical functions, plumbing, flooring, roofing and other associated total building maintenance solutions. Responsible for the reactive and PPM work for large blue chip clients . Qualified in the principles, techniques and practices used in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, safe handling of refrigerants, pipe work and brazing. An excellent working knowledge of split systems, commercial refrigeration and electrical systems within a wide field of commercial applications. Able to interpret blueprints, schematic, drawings, specifications and construction documents. Excellent communication skills in this customer focused industry.

A proven team leader as a member of the British Army responsible for the communication systems and training for 120 persons including networking of hardware/software so as to communicate voice and data with a larger network over long distances often exceeding 500km.This required resolve, experience and a structured outlook. Successfully advised and acted as a trouble shooter to senior management in all aspects of installation, implementation and resource management of all telecommunications and IT related systems in environments such as Iraq, Kenya, Northern Ireland,USA, Canada, Southern Africa and Europe often in harsh extremes with little resources.Soley responsible for planning, installation and management of commercial communication systems to the Iraqi police, Border force and Army through a detailed network to ensure inter agency co operation in the southern Iraq/Kuwait border area.
