Since March 2008 Seismic OBC and Land Observer at CGGVERITAS/Argas Saudi Arabia , Tunisia, Kuwait:

  • Assess personnel and equipment resources needed to satisfy contract specifications.
  • Check the quality of seismic records in close co-operation with the seismologist and the clients.
  • Set up the technical organization of the team.
  • Acceptance tests.
  • Experience as an Observer on large 2D/3D geophysical projects with experience in a variety of recording modes.
  • Extensive experience with telemetry recording systems (Sercel 408, 428and Seabed systems).
  • A strong commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) and an ability to manage HSE activities at a recording crew level.
  • A strong ability to plan and then execute the plan.
  • A proven ability and commitment to high quality and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Operate and maintain seismic acquisition systems and perform real-time quality control on equipment including recording systems, source controllers and other electrical systems.
  • Monitor and control the quality of the seismic data recordings and carrying out repairs in response to acquisition problems.
  • Control the quality of the seismic source signal.

Seabed 428 for Ocean Bottom Cable seismic acquisition, CMXL408, CMXL428, VE432, VE416, Seamap Gun shooting system,  Macha Encoder/Decoder shooting box, DSD, Vibrators « NOMAD65 » « NOMAD90 » « M26 ». NASTOR recorder, Motorola Radio GM340 CM340 CP40, Verif-i Box for Similarities, Radio Similarities.
