Short Bio:

I have worked at Spectrum Broadcasting Co. Nig. Ltd (owners of hot 98.3fm) for about five years where I have grown through different departments. I started as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director in 2009 and Music Librarian, I also worked as a voice over artist and have risen through dint of hard work to the position of the Advert & Traffic Manager and my job function entails monitoring of adverts, and programmes before scheduling, preparing compliance reports, scheduling and programming adverts in ramcom software, raising of invoices and certificate of broadcast (cot) to clients/customers, scheduling jobs in advert log, raising of local media contract, sending and receiving mails to/from clients, editing and preparing off air dubs for hypes, paid programmes and deliver to the clients, checking of commercial sales form & local media contract for correct scheduling and writing weekly report.
I also work in the same organization as a Co-Presenter on the program titled “hot diva’s” I carry out research on various topical issues for the program, inform and educate listeners on various segments e.g. relationship, health, fashion, and cooking etc.
I have also worked as a trainee presenter at Radio Plus 101.5, Coventry, United Kingdom where I gained working experience in a UK based radio station and improved on my communication skills. My job description entailed researching and reporting current and relevant topics/news stories for the station’s programme.
Also I have worked as a production assistant in a Movie and Music Production Company where I assisted the production director during production gained first hand production experience, improved managerial skills and successfully managed the funds to cover cost of production.
I worked as a Fund Raiser at a charity organization called Home Fundraising in Coventry, United Kingdom. My role included raising funds for a cancer charity organization, this helped me improve my face to face communication skills, meeting and communicating with different people every day and I successfully raising funds to help charity.
