Short Bio:

I am from Malacca, Malaysia. I attended the University of Technology MARA, Malaysia where I received a BSc. in Chemistry (Forensic Analysis) in 2012. After graduation I worked part-time as Research Assistant at the same university. In 2013 I undertook further study which culminated in MSc in Forensic Science at the Teesside University, UK and was awarded with distinction in 2014. My Master's project was about estimating drug consumption in a population using waste water.

• My role as a part-timer was to assist my supervisor in doing her project which involved the preparation of Molecular Imprinted Polymer (MIP), extraction of caffeine using Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE). High Performance Liquid Chromatography was used as the analysing instrument.
