• Ensured product acquisition of all returnable and non-returnable packaging materials i.e. empties shells, keg barrels and pallets for Uganda.

Achievements

• Developed and implemented an empties tracker which reduced the cost and Turnaround Time (TOT) on glass returned with breakages in the first 3 months of my role as empties planner. – 15 million Uganda Shillings was saved.

• Implemented a spirits accounting system on returned goods that had the least loss ever in inventory in the EABL Uganda market in 2013.

• Saved time on daily, monthly and quarterly reports. Reports on all spirits, beer and empties were sent by 12.00pm daily through my experience at EABL-DIAGEO.

• I was the operations safety ambassador from Jan 2014 and ensured the site was free of any minor accidents hence extending the safety record for Uganda in DIAGEO to 2000 days.
