Short Bio:

A highly-qualified, hard-working and versatile Pharmacist with a MSc in Nutrition & Dietetics who currently works as a Locum Pharmacist in the South West of England. I grew accostumed to being the responsible person everyday at work. Attention to detail, communication and influence skills, with a deep interest in cross-cultural aspects of work. Also fluent in four languages (English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese).

• Working as the responsible pharmacist in more than 50 different stores across the South West of England requiring a high level of flexibility in order to be able to adapt to each pharmacy on a daily basis. I achieve my target set by the companies I locum for (Boots, LloydsPharmacy, Superdrug, Independent Pharmacies) every day, also in busy high street pharmacies or medical centres.
o Dispensing accurate and clinical checks of medical prescriptions.

o Liasing with doctors regarding prescriptions.

o Advising the patient on the medication and any potential adverse side-effects.

o Monitoring the storage and supply of Schedule 2 and 3 controlled drugs.

o Preparing, supplying and supervising the consumption of controlled drugs for the opioid dependant customers (methadone, buprenorphine).
