This project involves the constructions of 3 story steel structure located within the King Abdallah Sports City that will serve as offices for the General Presidency of Youth and Welfare. Car Parking with Road works and landscaping.

Project Value: $ 21 Million.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 Take the lead for all mechanical and plumbing works. Reporting to the technical manager and project manager.

 Review basis of the design, preliminary drawings, detailed drawings, shop drawings and related calculations to ensure adherence to the required standards and norms

 Perform technical compliance reviews of mechanical design documentation produced by consultants and recommends to relevant management for approval

 Make recommendations on the mechanical design based on the review of the drawings, specifications and design information. Assist the project team in review/approval for the documents such as equipment /manpower mobilization program, construction program, shop drawings, work method statement, etc. submitted by contractors.

 Prepare the mechanical subcontractor packages and complete mechanical manufacturing packages for suppliers.

 Defining and managing project schedules, resource planning and key milestone deliverables (including potential scheduling conflicts and delays) and coordinating work activities among internal and external team members.

 Provide field support during installation, testing and start-up of mechanical equipment.

 Maintain strong client relations, and actively participate in preparation of proposals.

Construction of 60,000 seat football stadium FIFA approved; a 3 kilometer ceremonial road leading to a Mosque designed for approximately 100 worshippers; car parking for approx. 40,000 vehicles inclusive of 15 kilometers of road and draining infrastructure; several adjacent buildings including Royal Guard homes security gate houses a multi-sports hall and athletic stadium approx. 15,000 seats.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 Site in charge for all mechanical works in the external field including 1.6 KM of pre-insulated chilled water piping, 3.5 KM of fire protection HDPE piping, 4 KM of Potable and irrigation piping and 4 KM of drainage piping. As well as 5 external buildings.

 Testing and commissioning in charge for all external mechanical networks. In addition to the intire potable and irrigation system chlorination.

 Technical lead across a number of Mechanical teams, from concept design through to construction issue and site supervision.

 Mechanical interface engineer with the nearby projects as well as the government authorities.

 Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and other MEP disciplines

 Provide mechanical engineering input to basis of design.

 Provide mechanical engineering support to the construction and procurement process.

 Submit technical queries to the consultant/client, respond technical queries submitted by the subcontractors, follow up of technical queries’ status.

 Follow up with the site that the MSU, MS, FCN, etc. are being used & implemented.

 Review/verification of the design drawings of all mechanical & plumbing services.

 Prepare the shop drawings/coordination drawings of the mechanical & plumbing services.

 Arrange the HVAC & Fire protection packages to the subcontractors.

 Supervision of all areas of construction work with respect to mechanical works, utilities and general facilities of the project

 Managing the installation of Water Supply system, Water pumps, GRP water tanks, Water Heaters, Sanitary fixtures & External services.

 Monitoring progress of the installation of HVAC system, ducts, chilled water piping, FCU, AHU, CRAC, chilled water pumps & fans
