WORK OF EXPERIENCE:

DETAILED WORK EXPERIENCE AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-bidding & Bidding Stage:

– Preparation of Vendor List and obtaining approval from Line Manager to start Tender (or top management in case of big amounts tender).

– Preparation of Request for Quotation which includes technical info, commercial and payment conditions, QHSE and Local Content requirements.

– Communicate with Vendors to explain the tender requirements (especially to those new Vendors who are not aware of Local Content and QHSE issues).

– Receive quotations thru e-mail (or in sealed envelopes if big amounts tender).

– Arrangements for Bid Opening Committee and relevant formalities.

– Analyzing commercial offers (once Technical Evaluation from Project received).

– Preparation of Bid Tabulation (commercial & price comparison).

– Commercial negotiations with Vendors to agree the best commercial conditions.

Contracting:

– Preparation of Contract in accordance with Corporate Standard.

– Ensure to include local legislative and Local Content requirements.

– Further actions if any required such as informing Project of the Contract awarded; coordination of the Vendor mobilization (in urgent cases) in order to assist Project.

Vendor Management:

– Search for new Vendors meeting Company and Local Content requirements.

– Scouting the Market for certain Market Investigation requested by Project.

– Coordination of Vendor Pre-qualification process.

– Explaining to Vendors Corporate Policies, Code of Ethics requirements and etc.

Standard Contracts & Procedures:

– Development of Standard Company Contracts based on Corporate Standards.

– Application of Local Legislative Requirements within newly developed Company Standard Contracts.
