Short Bio:

I finished my Post Graduate studies in MA Architecture from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and secured 180 credits out of 200 achieving Level 7. I also hold a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Anna University, India. Since my studies have concluded, I would like to engage my understanding and passion for architectural design to a professional backdrop.

I have had extensive work experience in office environments and my previous employments in Saudi Arabia and India for architectural firms have offered me varied skills in dealing with customers and understanding their requirements. In Saudi Arabia, I worked in Al-Manahil Deco Company Ltd. for almost 2 years as an architect/ CAD Technician, before I joined for my Master’s program. The company which widely dealt with interior designing helped me to develop a comprehensive understanding between spaces and linking them to achieve an overall ingenious environment. In addition to designing, I was also engaged in managing associated project documentation.

I consider myself as an enthusiastic worker and appreciate working in a team, which I have done in my previous jobs as well as during project work in my design course. I am flexible, swift to learn new skills and keen to learn from others. I am much organised and always feel the need to achieve perfection, thereby constantly striving to excel.

My professional skills include proficient working knowledge of CAD programs, Sketch up, 3ds max, Photoshop and In design. I have limited experience with Revit but am convinced that I can quickly grasp the software with training.

I am interested in this experience as I believe it will allow me to utilise the abilities I have developed and enhance my work experience to date.
