Profile

I have an experience of over 15 years as an IT Project and Service Manager .

The areas of the main projects included

• Insourcing / Outsourcing applications and systems activities to/from external suppliers

• Applications implementation in telecommunications companies

• Implementation of control systems ( trouble ticketing )

• IT Process Reengineering following ITIL principles

Work Experience

2015 – Consultant at a service provider where I take care of , such as IT Project & Service Manager , a project of insourcing of activities ‘ infrastructure and applications .

2014 – I worked at Procura della Repubblica di Milano, in charge of some administrative and technical support activities.

2011 – 2013: IT Service Manager at Ceva Logistics, an international logistics leader

 

• Project Accountabilities:

o Implementation of a Trouble Ticket Application ( Remedy )

o Creation of tools designed to monitor the Service Level Agreement ( SLA ) of IT Department targeting internal and external users and Suppliers;

o Checking the conformity of IT procedures to ITIL standards

 

• Management Accountabilities

o SLA monitoring: this task consists in managing communications, alerts aimed to Customers and Suppliers and the Support Group in charge of the activities

o On-going interaction with the Head Office on projects and initiatives

o IT Systems Management, with particular focus on Customer’s perspective and IT contribution to business.

• Main Achievements

I have implemented a new tool to log and assign technical tickets: managing Training, Communication and Reporting, I have defined efficient procedures of assignment, prioritization and escalation. The resolution times have been reduced within a week, for almost 75% of the total number, as stated in the project goals.

 

2005 – 2011:
Senior Project Manager at Intec, international provider of technical and software solutions for Telecommunications companies

• Project Accountabilities

o Management of Projects for software packages installation at Italian ( Wind, Telecom Italia, Vodafone, 3 ) and Southern European Customers. These projects consisted in test, installation, delivery, time and cost control via the daily interaction with Customers, Head Office and International Technical Teams.

Main Achievements

 Each project was completed correctly and for some I personally contributed to the improvement of the product to meet the needs of the customer .

 

2001 – 2005:
IT Manager at ePlanet, Telecommunications company, leading a group of 10 people, reporting to the IT Manager.

• Project Accountabilities: insourcing of the Information Systems from Accenture.

• Management Accountabilities: applications and systems maintenance, development, with particular focus on long-term stability

Main Achievements

 Management passage Lira / Euro and shortening of billing by about 20 % , while maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency

 

2000 – 2001
Chief Technical Officer at a SEAT group Internet start-up, reporting to the Managing Director; I was in charge of the website and company network development and maintenance with major focus on security issues.
