Maintenance.

Location: Serbia, Montenegro & Macedonia (2010 – 2012):

  • Responsible to organize and control the maintenance department.
  • In charge of supervisors and technicians for the preventive, corrective maintenance and repairs.
  • Organized of maintenance quality inspections to control compliance with maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborated with maintenance personnel provided technical support. Organized trainings to upgrade personnel efficiency.
  • Responsible to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
  • Prepared operative and financial performance reports to the General Manager and the company’s headquarters.
Equipment installation projects.

Location 1: Serbia, Montenegro & Macedonia (2008 – 2010):
  • Prepared the operative and financial planning for the execution and commissioning of projects in the region.
  • Communicated and coordinated with the customer for all relevant matters.
  • Allocated the adequate human resources for project execution.
  • Organized the preparation of site for the launch of installation.
  • Monitored the installation progress and organized quality control inspections.
  • Prepared commissioning documentation.
  • Prepared progress reports for the customer and company’s management.
Location 2: Dubai, U.A.E. - Dubai airport construction project, (2007-2008).

Areas of engagement as member of the project management team:


Installation quality inspections:
  • Organized quality inspections in coordination with installation and planning departments.
  • Prepared non-conformance lists and followed-up corrective actions in coordination with installation department.
  • Maintained project quality records and inspections results.
Commissioning:
  • Verified on site the equipment operational readiness (installation completion, final quality inspection and completion of test runs).
  • Organized equipment inspections for certification by accredited organizations and managed the non-conformance lists issued by the accredited organizations.
  • Prepared the project commissioning documentation. This included operation and maintenance manuals, operator and maintenance personnel training manuals.
  • Participated in project progress meetings and reported to the project director and the customer.
Procurement:
  • Supply of locally manufactured specific and tailor made parts for the needs of the project.
  • Cooperated with the technical manager and the installation managers to define the specific features of the needed parts.
  • Identified and selected the suitable suppliers for fabrication.
  • Controlled the delivery of the produced parts in terms of quality and quantity.
Contract variations:
  • Definition and justification of the contract variations. Prepared the commercial offer for negotiation with the client’s consultant.
Health & Safety (parallel function).

Location: Serbia, Montenegro & Macedonia (2008 - 2012):
  • Officially responsible for Health & Safety in the branch (passed examinations and gained certificate from the ministry of Labor and Social Affairs).
  • Established procedures and regulations in accordance to the local legislation and the company’s H&S Policy (safety awareness, penalty policy, accident investigation procedures).
  • Performed safety inspections during installation and maintenance.
  • Performed safety audits to the installation and maintenance personnel.
Procurement & Warehousing (parallel function).

Location: Serbia, Montenegro & Macedonia (2008 - 2012):
  • Definition of the necessary quantities of spare parts ensuring the minimum stock of vital replacement parts and supplies.
  • Contacted relevant suppliers, approved quotations and performed ordering.
  • Controlled the received parts in terms of quantities and quality.
  • Organized the spare parts and tools internal code denomination, packaging and warehousing.
  • Controlled the accuracy and the completeness of the record keeping of the parts kept by the maintenance personnel teams.
  • Controlled the accuracy of the parts and tools inventory accounting, consumption and invoicing.
Cleton Insulation & Hertel Insulation (industrial insulation materials), Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 2004 – 2006.

  • Worked as insulation technician during regular maintenance and overhauls in oil refineries, chemical and power plants.
  • Attended evening language school and participated into a voluntary organization to learn the Dutch language and integrate easier into the local society.
Alfa Clima (HVAC & Refrigeration Systems), Athens, Greece (2001 – 2004).

Engineering:
  • Designed HVAC and Refrigeration systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications.
  • Introduced new series of energy efficient products.
Production:
  • Planned of the production according to the workload, incoming orders and delivery deadlines.
  • Estimated the production costs and allocated the sufficient workforce.
  • Controlled the product process and the final product quality.
Maintenance:
  • Organized the preventive and corrective maintenance of the installed equipment. Supported technically the personnel to resolve breakdowns.
  • Contacted customers to resolve all remarks to assure high level of satisfaction.
  • Organized the preventive maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and tools. Gained hands-on experience in resolving of production halts in cooperation with the maintenance personnel.
  • Purchased the necessary tools and expendable materials for the maintenance of the equipment.

ThyssenKrupp SEED (Specialized Education for Executive Development) – Madrid, Spain (2006-2007), Project Management Program (PMP).

Course in project management, manufacturing and supply chain, accounting & finances, QA/QC and HSE management. The project management training included courses of project planning and execution, contract management, negotiation and budget control. The trainings were performed by high ranking production and project managers, Business Units CEO’s and distinguished external educational institutions. Duration: 18 weeks.
