Short Bio:

I am a former basketball player who hustled on the court for eight years in Slovenia and US. Along with education, those years in Texas exposed me to multicultural classmates, community and a way of life. Living abroad and growing from a teenager to a professional prepared me for the life I lead now. As an events and marketing professional with over 4 years experience, I am now looking for a role that focuses on events, with a possibility to have some marketing added, primarily, but not limited to Texas.
I am a planner and a blogger with a creative mind who doesn't mind public speaking. My world is very organised and structured, but I am not afraid to be completely flexible and do well under stress. I am not shy about putting forward my ideas and pay attention to detail.
In my current role, I am responsible for overseeing entire event management and execution of executive dinners, breakfast briefings, afternoon live debates, webinars, partner conferences, and charity events. I also manage a public relations agency and help contribute to overall marketing and social media strategy, whether it’s tweeting, posting LinkedIn updates or blogging. I am responsible for managing our corporate website and CRM, as well as launching email marketing campaigns, producing market data reports and newsletters on a quarterly basis.
I like to get heavily involved in company brand strategy, most recent one being entire company re-branding. I enjoy managing our department budget and a marketing assistant.
As one of the team members that launched The Digital Banking Club, only place to go for all things digital financial services focused, I write a monthly blog about anything digital and try to keep abreast of new channels, devices and apps in the digital financial services space.
