Short Bio:

I am Abari Abdulhamid Damilola, a 24 year old citizen of Epetedo Town in Lagos Island Local Government Area in Lagos State, Nigeria. I graduated from Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) where I obtained a Bachelor’s (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

However, during my years as both a student and a graduate, I have gained vast training and knowledge in the area of maintenance and automobile engineering. Some of my relevant experiences include a one year (Nov.2011-Oct.2012) training at Dangote cement Plc Obajana, Kogi state, where I was involved in various maintenance routines because I worked in four various department namely; Mines, Mix storage, Raw mill and Kiln.

Also had a six month industrial training I undertook at both Paterson Zochonis (PZ) Cussons Nig. PLC (July 2010- Sept 2010) and Promasidor Nigeria. LTD (April 2010- June 2010), both companies are into consumable products and I was involved in the maintenance of various machines and equipments in both companies, also a three month (July 2009- Sept 2009) industrial training at A.S.A.O Peugeot Motors Nigeria Ltd, where I worked as an Auto mechanical engineer, was actively involved in the servicing and maintenance of different Peugeot vehicles.

In addition, I did a three month certificate program in Electromechanical at Applied Engineering Technology Initiatives Ltd. (a subsidiary of Micheal stevens consulting) from October 2012 - December 2012.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

• Lagos State Electricity Board (L.S.E.B)                                      June 2013 – July 2013

Position – Maintenance Engineer/ Energy Auditor

Main responsibilities:

1. 1.  Involved in the Energy Auditing of Lagos Environs (Ebute Metta, Apapa, Dolphin Estate ikoyi).

2. Compute Customer informations and Power Estimations in a phone Application connection to the main data base.

1. 3.  Compute Locations Power estimations.

4. Compute conditions of electrical facilities in all locations (Poles, Overheads (Low Tensions and High tensions), Transformers, Meters (Prepaid and Post-paid etc.)

Position – Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)/NYSC

Main responsibilities:

1. Daily inspection round the factory.
2. Participate in weekly and monthly maintenance carried out in the factory and some machines (e.g. Limestone Crushers, Air Compressors, Dust extractors, Blowers, Bag filters, etc.)
3. Participate and record maintenance done on machines in the factory.
4. Record and compute departmental production reports with the use of MS Excel.
